Musitronics M.EX upgrade
Multimode expansion for D-50 / D550

This third-part board add some new functions to synthesizer Roland D-50 and module version D-550.

INSTALL pretty easy to install, involves not special skill for basic option functions.
System speed increase system however involves some soldering.

 

NEW FUNCTIONS here's some of the 42 new functions:

- New split point zones
- multitimbral (2 parts)
- new performance playmodes
- up to 192 sound patches upgrade

 

 

MEX related MODELS:

	D-50 is the 61-keys keyboard version.
	D-550 expander version technically exactly the same still some people pretend to hear some minor differences into D/A. The Rack has lost the pitchbender and modulation as well as Aftertouch but responds to all these messages.
	PG-1000 programmer a Midi sysex generator not great for real-time control, but still a breeze for edit.
