VOICE structure works with either 16 x 1 steps or 8 x 2 mode with a simple switch. The 1601 works with 1V/Oct. Each step can be set to a specific voltage note value (plays if relative red led is switched on). Each step also generates different voltage gate on 3 different gatebus 1-2-3 which can be also used as smart Envelope generator.
It is also possibile to skip a note or generate a reset to first step and play in a special Randomish mode.

- Straight note playmode, no backwards, pendulum or other Doepfer weird stuff but a randomish mode (activate the switch).
Scale 1V/oct with 0-10V range
and a Positive gate (no S-trig for Anti-moog purposes).

Dual VCO quantisizer voltages to the nearest relative note. A very smart function way ahead of its time, especially if you are NOT into microtonal music.
