VOICE the unit manages up to 5 PCM channels at the same time, each have an individual volume knob for mixing.
The sounds can be triggered by either Analog triggers input (e.g pads, sequencer pulse at +5V) or by Midi devices like drum machines or sequencers.
Each channel have own volume and a label:
-channel 1 bass
-channel 2 snare
-channel 3 hi tom
-channel 4 low tom
-channel 5 mid Tom
Each channel can be tuned to +/- 7 semitones (some sounds limited to 5)
The brain manages up to 5 analog inputs to trigger the internal sounds. The relative pad sensivity can be set using the "SENS" button.
TIP: you can trigger sounds using these combo: "VU METER" + "UP" + "DOWN" at the same time.
Sounds can be triggered by Midi input.
Midi can also act as a trigger to midi converter.
Also a Midi THRU port.
EFFECT An optional board was available with a 16 bit DSP. There are mainly 30 presets in 7 main families: small room, medium room, large room, live room, large hall, reverse and gated. Depth decay can be set for each family (gated has gate time of course).

9 slots for user kits (position: 11-20) doubled if memory card insered (slots: 9-10). Note that SDS2000 cards are also compatible with the Simmons Trixer.
