VCF / VCA JUNO-106 VOICE CHIP FILTER IC (1984?)
DESCRIPTION who own's a synthesizer Roland Juno 106 soon or later reported "dead voices", they typically cause either a loss of sound or a a kind of crackle as the juno106 warms up. The most common fault is the failure of the 6 dreaded A1QH80017A (or more common 80017A) the VCF and VCA of the machine. This now hard to find IC (but many modern clones are available now) mainly is poor manufactured and ages badly for internal heat with resin, in fact the 80017A is a kind of capsule which contains well-know IC such as EG BA662 and VCF Ir3109.
beside 106, the 80017a can be found on these machine: HS-60 / GR-700 / MKS-30 / MKS-7
