Overview Behringer attempts to clone the iconic Roland Tr-808 for a very affordable price, keeping same aspects but a total redesign from original, unique, circuit with matched transistor. The aspect is quite similar with 16 steps, but a numeric display and reverse step colour for copyright reason, but you can switch them to Tr808 gradiant. Also some new features, a bit normal after 40 years of technology!
Synthesis Smd technology for 16 analog sounds recreation, adding also a dual filter mode - 12 dB filter button with LPF / HPF modes with classic cutoff and resonance parameters for live tweaking (movement can be recorded). Also the new "Wave Designer" has individual attack and sustain controls that can be applied to individual voices which keeps orginal japanese machine sound parameters
Features 16 songs and 256 patterns with 64-step drum sequencer features poly-meter, step-repeat, note-repeat, real-time triggering, track-mute and track-solo. Also some more neat features for live performance: Swing, Step Probability, drum Flam and Random step.
Sync 2 external clock are accepted to slave the machine: USB and standard MIDI
