Half rack synthesizer from MU series based on PCM romplers with XG / GM midi files compatibility

Also a rackmount version called Mu100R with 2 plg expansion installed

RACKMOUNT main panel features an LCD display, 16 buttons 2 knobs for input gain and master volume.

Back panel terminal connectors:
- Midi interface (2 In + 1 out + 1 thru)
- host serial connection (obsolete) for MAC/PC
- main out RCA
- signal input RC

Front panel terminal connectors:
- headphones out 1.5 mm
- signal input with gain

TECH main core Renesas H8 manages up to 64 voices polyphony, relative DAC is a APD63200GS-E1. A basic Mu100 voice uses 1 sample PCM (part) at 16 bits based on AWM2 synthesis.

PCM and Sound cannot be really edited but by Exclusives Systems.

PCM WAVETABLE the internal 20.MB wave ROM is organized in 3 wave categories:

- 1267 PCM tones - 46 drum kits

EXPANSION the Mu100 can be expanded with 1 PLG100 board:

- PLG 100DX: FM synthesis like DX7 - PLG 100VL: Virtual Acoustic - PLG 100VH: a kind of harmonizer effect - PLG100XG: another set of XG sounds

 

 

PERFORMANCE The MU100 handles 32 Midi channel is also fully compatible with the GM and Yamaha XG format.

FILTER is a digital low pass filter that can be assigned to LFO (wheel modulation)

LFO the modulator can be assigned to 3 destination (PMOD AMOD FMOD)

- LFO to pitch - LFO to filter - LFO to amplitude

ENVELOPE 2 EGs:

- EG01 amplitude: 3 segments - EG02 pitch: 2 segments + 2 times

 

EFFECTS Reverb and Chorus are "System" effects for the overall mix. Insertion 1 and 2 can be applied as an "Insertion" effect to any specific instrument part. Variation can be set to either System or Insertion. Variation and Insertion includes:

Rotary Speaker, Tremolo, Overdrive, Distortion, Auto Wah.Plus each part has its own 2-band EQ + 5-band EQ for the overall stereo mix. TIP Analog input can process external sources.

MEMORY:

- Preset Performances: 100 slots - User Performances: 100 slot No external media. Internal battery replacement: a simple CR2032, that ebay crooks will sell to you a 5/6 the price!
