Overview and Sounds

OVERVIEW Half rack midi module with big nice display with four RCA cinch outputs, the expander offers il multitimbric with 32 parts (16 from Midi A 16 from Midi B) to the output of its choice. Rackmount version is SC-880.

SOUNDS 64 voices polyphony with 1117 sounds in preset+ 256 user locations (CR battery inside) + 42 preset drum kits and 2 user kits.
It's a rompler class with 20 MB of waveforms in memory, the SC-88 offers traditional GM standard, cover many vintage Roland instruments and drums from classic groovebox Mc303. The GM mapping includes also a SC-55 set for retro compatibility.

Effects and edit

FEFFECT DSP SC-88 is divided into two families:
1) 64 classic: reverbs (8), chorus (8), delays (10) and the two-band EQ.
2) 64 Insertion: limiter / compressor, pitch shifter, flanger, distortion, saturation, enhancer, Leslie, wah wah, 3D, combination.

EDIT All sounds can be edited in minal way with front buttons (eg. LFO vibrato, filters and volume envelopes) and stored in one of the 256 available user memories. For in depth edit an external editor is needed with sysex.
