VOICE Cpu 8-Bit Microcomputers TMS 7001 + Motorola 68b09 handle 6 voices polyphony, and each voices features 2 detunable DCO (called "DCG") oscillators with A/B level mix and pitch hardsync mode.
Voices are mainly based on 6 X Curtis CEM3396 Microprocessor Controllable: Wave-Shaper oscillator (2 per voice) with filter VCF, and VCA.
Analog CHORUS with 2 level depth based on mn3009 + driver 3101
Same warm breeze found e.g on Roland Alpha Juno polysynth.
OSCILLATOR
DCO 1 (octaves : 16' 8' 4' 2') can be a mix of 2 summale waveforms called "A" and "B"
- A: pulse wave with 32 quantisized width (up to square)
- B: one wave between: sawtooth, sawtooth reverse, triangle and half triangle
NOTE: DCO2 is similar to DCO but OSC can be set also to 2 different noise (white and "coloured")
The CEM 3396 is itended to be driven from digitally generated square or pulse timing signals, the device includes 2 independent waveform converters, a mixer for voltage controlling the relative balance between the two waveform converter outputs, a dedicated four-pole low-pass voltage controlled filter with voltage controlled, a VCA for allowing one converter output to frequency modulate the filter, and two high quality output VCAs, one for envelope control and the other for dynamics and modulation effects.
- Split functions
- special standard and 2 arabic scales
- monophonic mode
- portamento amount
analog low pass with emphasis resonance and special key follow mode. Still based on CEM 3386
1 single modulator (shapes: sinewave, sawtooth, square and random) with variable depth (99 scaled levels) and 4 main destinations:
- LFO to pitch (DCO1 / DCO2)
- LFO to filter VCF
- LFO to VCA
- LFO to pulse width (PWM)
2 bipolar EGs each with 5 segments + 1 time EG to DCO1, DCO2 , DCO1-2, VCF and VCA
