Analog Filter synthesizer

Hybrid Module synthesizer from Switzerland: digital short waves and analog filter.

RACKMOUNT single unit rack.
The main panel features a basic segment display, 6 knobs (they do transmit Midi CC#) and 8 push buttons for edit.

Back panel terminal connectors:
- audio mono out
- audio line input for external filtering
- Midi interface.

Power supply is external 9V AC-AC.

VOICE main engine manages 1 voice of polyphony.

STRUCTURE: a Syntrack voice is composed by 1 digital oscillator based on a very short one-cycle waveforms.

WAVETABLE there are 100 wave just pure electronics, no acoustic.
The wavetable includes standard waves like square and saws and many computer-generated harmonics and precalculated FM.
TECH: internal ROM can be upgraded with an optional chip giving an extra 100 PCM, but today it is quite impossible to find it out.

FILTER analog resonant 4-poles VCF range is from 20 up to 20.000 Hz.
TIP: the VCF can filter external audio sources.

 

ENVELOPE a single 2-segments RELEASE/DECAY EG for the amplitude VCA.

 

 

 

LFO a single modulator accessible only by display which modulates OSC pitch - relative frequency rate can be synched to external Midi clock at various rate dividers.

EFFECTS analog distortion-saturation for very aggressive basslines but it emphasizes click-glitches noises.

 

MIDI every parameter is assigned to a Midi Control Change.
TECH: bulk Sysex dump is very simple and effective.

MEMORY:
- 100 RAM slots for sounds
Non-expandable RAM no external media, DUMP saving by MIDI SYSEX.
