VOICE main core based on a 80C32 8-bits CPU manages 28 voices polyphony - motherboard labeled "Made in Italy" but ROM sets have been manufactured by Dream France.
WAVETABLE there are 128 standard GM sounds categorized into 16 classic groups.
Sounds can be played directly from Midi but they cannot be really edited but some minor variations.
PERFORMANCE up to 16 channels (number 10 is assigned to drum by GM protocol) with some minor options like mute, solo, or transpose.
MEMORY The disk drive accepts both 720 kb and 1.44
Mb floppies formated by standard PC DOS -Atari file system, but only Midi files type 0 are accepted.
Midi files are directly streamed from the drive (system also outputs MIDI tracks) and some minor changes like tonal transpose can be saved to the disk, in addtion ut is also possible to use the MF01 as a Midi exclusive data recorder for librarian purposes.
TECH: the floppy drive is based on a Panasonic JU-257A726P that can be upgraded with an USB flash reader from third-part.

settings are retained by a Cr2032 lithium battery soldered to the mainboard.
