Teisco 100-F (1976)

Portable and powerful little analog monster full of tricks

raw power with gritty VCF filter.

There are 2 brand-versions with same characteristics:
- Kawai version with blu scripts
- Teisco version with orange scripts.

KEYBOARD (weight: 6,7 Kg / dimensions: 545 x 345 x 150 cm) non-dynamic 37 keys. The main panel features 10 switch tabs and 18 potentiometer sliders.

Back panel terminal connectors:
- out at low impedance
- out at high impedance
- cv interface control
- CV filter control.

VOICE the synthesizer based on 1 single VCO + 1 white noise generator (note: noise disables the external filter VCF signal process).

STRUCTURE: VCO oscillator can be modified with these functions:
- octaves sekector 64' / 32' / 16' / 8' / 4' + 1 sub bass bottom (down to low 0.3 Hz)
- saw or square (sadly no variable width) waveforms
- tuning the VCO pitch.

ENVELOPE 2 interchangeable EGs:
1- EG VCA: 2 segments
2- EG VCF: 2 segments.
VCA also offers 3 preset curves for sustain and release named "organ" and "slow".

 

FILTER multimode analog resonant filter:
1- lowpass: range: 16 Hz- to 2 0kHz at -24 dB per octave
2- highpass: range 10 Hz to 16 kHz.

 

LFO single delayed oscillator (shapes: saw, triangle and square) and 3 destinations:
1- VCO pitch
2- VCA amplitude
3- VCF filter cutoff.

CV/ GATE MODIFICATON is a non-standard voltage control, for a correct control you have to use third-part interfaces to traditional 1V / Oct and MIDI modification. Various units can be linked to by the SYNTHESIS CONTROL IN to higher or lower part of the keyboard for an even more awesome duophonic machine.

 

MEMORY none! just vintage carton overlay cards helps for some kind of preset.
