VSS-100 is able to mix 2 different synthesis sources:
- orchestra mode: 9 digital voices based on a 2 OP FM chip

FM SOUNDS
there are 21 different presets with no possible edit and 1 drum kit.
Sampler
up to 8 seconds in FULL mode which is the lowest quality: 12 different combination between quality sample rate and available sampling time.
Sample edit is limited to a pitch tuning function and each press changes 7 cents.
Performance
part mode manage up to 4 samples at the same time (1 sec. per part) each assigned to a fixed keyboard zone.

NOT : single sampling channel / lacks class VSS effects
" the vss100 is the less interesting member of the VSS family: no more cool effects and just a single channel for the sampler! anyway low sampling is still interesting. Worth a try anyway"
