Voice
system handles 31 digital voices based on synthesis DC PCM Pulse Code Modulation. The structure badly miss a filter section.
Edit
the lowest level is a tone which is composed by either 1 or 2 samples out of 128 tones available (drum is a part) and no possible edit. The upper level is the timbre composed by a single tone that has some editable parameters including: volume, detune and vibrato. Finally 6 timbres make a patch for performance.
Wavetable
the U110 ROM is organized in 2 main groups:

acoustic samples: piano, bell, guitar, string, organ, brass and more
- precalculated basic waveforms: pulse, saw and generated harmonics
Effect
section features digital chorus and tremolo at the same time for whole parts (MASTER).
LFO
a single modulator for the amplitude control (vibrato), extremely simple with just a single waveform, a delay time and depth value
Envelope
section offers a single 2-stages AR for amplitude.

A true piece of PCM history! technically outdated but it still offers some retro PCM charms. If you really miss those sounds,you should get a more "updated" U-220 or U-20: same thing with better noise ratio and some extra
