Roland digitally cloned their cult drum machines models TR-808 and TR-909 in a single box.

DESKTOP (weight: 2 Kg). The main panel features a basic 7 segment LED display, 16 step pads, 11 sliders, 30 push buttons, 2 encoders and 38 knobs.

Voice
digital engine based on the analog modeling ACB Analog Circuit Behavior emulates the unstable behavior of traditional transistor circuits.

Expansion Upgrade
The new expansion 7X7-TR8 Drum Machine Expansion is based on TR-707 and TR-727 samples. .

Sequencer
2 recording modes:
- realtime with quantize option
- step mode (classic TR) with variable scale set at 8th Triplet, 16th Triplet, 16th and 32nd.

Effect
internal sounds can be processed by reverb, delay and side chain also known as ducking external input.

Scatter mangler-glitch
this function offers 10 drastic synched-tempo effects, great to mangle sounds.

USB
version 2.0 the drum machine can be directly Midi controlled, recorded and tempo-synched with other Aira devices. Another interesting features are the virtual 11 multi outs for each instruments.

" A good emulation at nice price. Lacks the charm of the original machines, but it is possible to create a lot more of different sounds for all kind of musics. Roland could do more."
