First breed of the successful JV rompler series: successor of the D-70, last "D" model of the series D, then followed by upgraded 76 keys version model JV-90.

Overview
KEYBOARD (weight: 9 kg ) 61 velocity keys with aftertouch. Main panel features a 2 x 40 lines display, 58 push buttons and 8 sliders for real-time parameter controch selector.

Voice
CPU is based on a custom HD6434328f manages up to 28 voices polyphony or TONES.
A basic pacth is composed by 4 tones PCM samples with indipendent parameters:
- keyzone assignment
- pitch tuning
- pan
- delay start time
- crossmodulation FXM

Wavetable
4 Mb ROM holds 129 16-bits waves. The internal ROM offers a wide selection of bread and butters for all kind of music and tastes.

Performance
the JV engine manages up 7 parts (+1 drum) parts each with assignable:
- Midi channel
- zone assign
- volume / panning
- effect amount
- tuning

Filter
digital resonant TVF Time-Variant-Filter 2 modes: lowpass and highpass.

LFO
there are 2 oscillators that modulates filter and amplitude; they do provide 7 waveforms with adjustable symmetry:

Envelope
- EG1 AMP: segments + 3 times, 8 velocity curves + key follows option.
- EG2 FILTER: 4 segments + 4 times.
- EG3 PITCH: 4 segments + 4 times, Keyfollow + Random Pitch ratio.

Effect
- reverbs: 8 different presets 2 ROOM, 2 STAGE, 2 HALL and 2 DELAY
- chorus: 3 presets of choruses/flanger with variable rate and depth

Expansion
the JV is expandable fitting 2 kind of expansions:
- PCM card inserted into the frontal slot
- SRJ-V board (usual size is 4 or 8 MB)

NOT : edit /display / obsolete
"sound nice like all JV, very affordable in these days. However the newer JV , XV Phantom, integra series are far more powerful with bigger wavetable, functions and DSP effect."
