Overview
small black black box with traditional MS series design.
The main panel features:
- 6 knobs
- 2 switches
- 22 jack inputs for modular patching

CV foreword
Analog ynthesizers and other musical gears can externally played by analog control system: the Control Voltage.
The CV/Gate combo is composed by 2 tensions that controls oscillator pitch + envelope trigger.

There are basically 2 standards:
- 1 V / oct has linear tension and is used by Roland, Sequential Circuits, Arp, Oberheim and Moog
- Hz/ V is logarithmic and used by most of Korg machines (like ms-20) and Yamaha (like cs-15)

Compatibility
the Hz/V system is technically more precise but defintively less common than V/Oct, so for for linking different systems a converter is needed and guess it: the Ms02 just does that job.

Functions
- LOG AMP changes Hz/Volt tension to 1V/Oct. You have to plug the signal to IN, calibrate the Lowest pitch with FREQUENCY and higher with WIDTH so both scales are matched.
- ANTILOG AMP exactly the LOG AMP contrary
- ADDING AMP 2 channels +/-5 V can be added to incoming tensions
- TRIGGER PROCESSOR 2 invert the signal polarity that trigger the EG. If the controlled synth plays at note release, then use this inverter

Review
OK: MS-related / rare
NOT : expensive / does not work so well
"Fascinating like all Ms items. I tried some conversions between various calibrated synths and not all were really satisfactory! not all combinations seem to be working. Try it before."

cool
