PopularDIY originally based on a single IC 40106 the first project was projected by Arthur Harrison and Kevin Buckhold. NOTE: the name "cacophonator" is a mix between "cacophony" and oscillator.
Overview
DIY layout depends on what you want to build: plastic box, tin can, wood case or other recycled stuff... it is up to you! Main panel features 6 knobs + 1 volume pot, 1 lever switches for drone sustain modeor push button for manual triggering.

this noisebox uses a IC 40106 hex schmitt trigger and it generates 6 identical oscillators with individual pitch frequencies and a non periodic modulator LFO. It works like a source of random noises quite unpredictable but soon boring.
