Sound
10 samples coded at 8 or 12 bits (not sure) and 14 instruments: kick, snare, tom, ride, hihat, rimshot, claps, conga, trambourine and crash. It is no possible to edit samples in anyway, but some percussions responds to MELLOW mode which allows a lower velocity.
Memory
ROM contains 23 preset patterns like rock, mambo, chacha and more.
Arranger
It is possible to program some custom patterns using the apposite TAP button for recording, then 7 songs can be saved only to special RAM cartridge SY-P3 memory pack.
Arranger unctions are solo, variations, clear, copy, triplet, accent, 2 FILL-IN modes, INTRO and variable time signature (including 2/4, 4/4, 3/4).
Sync
internal tempo range 60 to 300 BPM or slave mode to external Midi clock.
